This was the first time we stayed in a B&B and we didn't know what to expect. We're very glad that this was our first experience, we felt welcomed and very comfortable. The decor was interesting to look at and breakfast was wonderful. Thanks Loretta, for the memories!

Great Summer Weekend

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Rhinestone Rose. Loretta was wonderfully accommodating and gave us all the information we needed to explore the nearby town and find yummy food. We loved our room "The Hide Out", the recently redone Geisha Room. There were two great rooms to watch movies and cuddle up with a book, and a great room with hot tub, massage room, and daybed for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious:-)

The minute you walk through the front door, your nostrils will twitch as they detect the unmistakable musky odor of cat spray. If you choose to stay in the romantic whirlpool suite, you will find that the funky smell is strongest right around your door, and that an army of scented candles won't come close to drowning out the stink.

We celebrated our honeymoon here. We were warmly welcomed by proprietor Loretta and he two little furry friends. The room we selected was warm, romantic, decorated just for us we felt and had a Jacuzzi which was just frosting on the cake. Loretta's breakfast was very tasty and served totally on our schedule. Highly recommend the Rhinestone and will pass this on to anyone who will listen!

Rhinestone Rose's First Wedding

After proposing to my wife, ‘Lucy’ Pearson, in the mountains of Wrightwood after a short hike, I learned that my fiancée at the time always dreamed of this, in addition to becoming married at the same place. My wife and I, Jason Pearson have always been fascinated and intrigued with doing things that are considered uncommon or unorthodox. My wife and I took no interest in the cliché of marrying in a chapel with the same dull expectations. Rhinestone Rose Bed and Breakfast provided the perfect opportunity to conduct a unique wedding. The sight seeing to the resort is great, the resort’s appearance is great and lavish, the rooms have their unique theme and is appealing to the eyes and is welcoming, the food is unique with culinary preparation and great taste. My wife and I continue to have our anniversary every year since 2008. In stead of walking down a chapel isle my fiancée at the time walked up an elegant stair case adjacent to a waterfall (which at the time was not complete, but is now) to an aesthetically decorated gazebo where the wedding took place. My wife and I would strongly recommend Rhine Stone Rose Bed and Breakfast for any occasion.

My husband and I stayed along with my son on the 4th of July week-end. It was fantastic. Our room was the Angel room and it was so elegant. My son stayed in the romantic room and it was was beautiful! We lived in Wrightwood for 15 years and had not been back for 20 years. It was like going home again. Loretta is the best INN KEEPER! We live in Arizona but we will be back to this GEM!

I've never met an inn keeper who calls her guests needs "inconvenient" and "crappy".

Management Response
A Rhinestone Rose BnB prides itself to go beyond trying to serve and providing a homey atmosphere to all her guests. The word I used that gave you so much anguish was suppose to be interpreted as light humor. My apologies for my discretion.

Well that discribes the "INN KEEPER" as Lorreta calles her self. She had me in stitches and that will be where I will always wamt to go when I want to get away. It is a beautiful wonderful place to be and it is fun meeting the other people. 5 star all the way, wine in your room and breakfast is a blast, just remember Loretta is there just cooking away. All of her rooms are decorated in a different look. You will love this wonderful place in the mountains. Judy H 1/2010

Serendipity led us to Loretta and her charming B&B. We are both fans and aficionados of bed and breakfast inns, and we were both absolutely thrilled to find such a wonderful place by chance. Loretta is the best innkeeper we've met, and words can't describe how great the Rhinestone Rose is. You simply have to see it. It's one of a kind.

My husband and I were looking for a short trip close to home and heard about the Rhinestone Rose in Wrightwood from a friend. It turned out to be about an hour and a half from us but quite a difference from the hussel and bussel of our daily work week to a romantic, care free mountain retreat. Our room at the Rhinestone Rose had a jacuzzi and lots of flowers everywhere, very romantic. We loved the "Rose" and plan to escape to our retreat as often as we can. Also Wrightwood is a charming little town with lots of snow (we were their in the winter) and antique shops.

I can't say enough good things about my wonderful stay at the Rose - What a great property and fabulous setting. Although close to Los Angeles Wrightwood was a perfect get away in the mountains.
