You need to visit the Wallowas in your life time, it's just charming with a Swiss Alps feel to land scaping. Perfect place for snowshoeing, hiking out on Zumwalt Prairie we spent the whole day with out seeing anyone. Our bed at the Bed & Breakfast was so comfortable and the birthday bath tub we both enjoyed sitting in for over an hour, reading and looking at the mountains. This will be an annual visit for us now.
