Circa 1908. This turn-of-the-century cedar shingle home, immaculately renovated, offers a setting of Victorian elegance and comfort. For more than 50 years, the Four Square-style house served as the Democratic Club in the historic district. The inn now offers visitors five distinctively appointed guest rooms furnished with antiques and family collectibles. Crystal chandeliers, artwork, polished woodwork and an open stairway invite guests to a relaxing and pampered stay. The common room features a fireplace and wet bar service. Guests enjoy full breakfasts, often served on the wraparound porch or in one of the parlors.
