Description

Circa 1887. A general store with upstairs living quarters was the original use for this charming inn, named for the innkeepersĘ black labrador, Bo. A Monticello mayor bought the home in the 1930s and transformed it into his summer home. Today the refurbished guest rooms reflect New England style. A wicker-filled porch offers rockers for relaxation and inside sitting areas provide cozy places to lounge while enjoying a good book. Boating, fishing and swimming can be enjoyed on the premises as well as a game of croquet or badminton. A basket of breakfast goodies is served each morning in the ButlerĘs Pantry. The inn features a little gift shop with antiques, jewelry and hand-made pieces.
